Farmer's Market Finds

Last weekend, Rex and I went to the Broken Arrow OK Farmer's Market. We purchased fresh green beans, new potatoes, okra and squash as well as farm-raised steaks, chicken and ground beef. All the meat was from animals without any growth hormones or antibiotics. We spent $50 for at least 4 meals . . . and seriously it has made me want to go back to nature. We received a sample of home-made laundry detergent and that has also inspired me to make some of my own. I will let you know how that goes.

This weekend, we are going with our daughter and grandson, Mason. I can't wait to see how that goes.

On a lighter note, I have been listening to a tape by Rev. Keith Moore about depression and it has helped me immensely. I am feeling much more hopeful these days. I'll try to update my blog more.

Hugs!

Amy
